APRIL 2019

Travler Collies has some news.  First, Bree Ardizzone (my niece) has won an AKC Juniors Scholarship, which will help her in her graduate studies in Pharmacy.  We also just found out that Bree’s smooth collie “Kimmy”, GCHB Travler’s Kim Possible, is #2 Smooth Collie in Breed and #4 in All-breed, according to Canine Chronicle statistics.  Kimmy has had several nice specialty wins and also received an Award of Merit at the Collie Club of America National Specialty.

Our veteran, Bonus, GCHS Travler’s Nissan Rogue CD BN RN CGC, won his Veteran’s class at the National – which is great in itself – and also made several cuts in specials, remaining in the last group before the final awards.  He has also won several BOS placements at specialties, and has picked up about 40 grand champion points toward his Gold GCH.  Bonus was 3rd in the stud dog class at the National, and several of his young puppies earned class placements, with one winning the 6-9 month puppy dog class.

Liir, GCH Travler’s Son of a Witch, was 2nd in the stud dog class, with several of his puppies also earning some nice placements.

And – Poe, GCHS Travler SugarNSpice Witches Do Come Blue, a Liir son, is #1 smooth in the country through March, under Canine Chronicle’s all breed system – after being shown just one weekend!  Poe is co-owned by me with owner/handler Mara Flood.
