Here’s a candid shot of our Kimmy, GCH Travler’s Kim Possible, going BOS under judge Nioma Coen at the Royal Canin show in Florida. She was handled by friend Molli Jason when Bree could not go. She was also Select at one of the other shows in the cluster (handled by Renee McGlone when Molli had a conflict). So many outstanding specials there – it was such a thrill for Kimmy to do so well!

News from Travler Collies –
At the Sheltie Club’s first herding test and trial, smooth collie Bitsy (Ch Travler’s Thistlebr Lil’Dividend) got her second Herding Started A leg on ducks, with a score of 85 and 5th place in a nice class. (I didn’t realize they gave 5th!) One more leg to go. Smooth collie Cat (GCH Travler’s Book of Shadows) and rough collie Tinker (Travler’s Pixie Dust) both passed their first legs toward their Herding Instinct Certifications. One more leg for each of them, too.
Smooth collie Plexy (Ch Travler’s Mustang Sweetheart) finished her championship at Ballston Spa, making her the 17th champion for her sire, GCHS Travler’s Nissan Rogue BN CD RN CGC.
Smooth collie Cat was WB, BOB every day at Cornwall and District KC, for 5 points toward her CKC championship, including her major.

Brags for the weekend from Travler Collies. Bree decided the judges were better for us at the Wallkill shows than the Henrietta shows, and the entry might be bigger. She was right!

With these wins, “Cat”, now GCH Travler’s Book of Shadows, finished her GCH in 2 weekends. “Julia”, Travler’s The Kitchen Witch, is now up to 13 points, 3 majors. And Travler’s Mustanger has 14 points, 3 majors.

Smooth collie Vevo, new Ch Travler’s Take The Mustang Pledge, co-owned by Mara Flood and Becky Tehon and handled by Mara Flood, finished his championship in 5 shows at just 10 months old. He is by GCHS Travler’s Nissan Rogue BN CD RN CGC ex GCh Travler’s Mustang Shelby. I think he is
the 15th champion for his sire.
Becky Tehon – The weekend after completing her herding PT title, smooth collie “Bitsy” (Ch Travler Thistlebrae Lil’Dividend PT) earned the first leg toward her HSA title on ducks at the NESA trial.

Our smooth collie “Liir”, GCH Travler’s Son of a Witch, went to the Collie Club of America national specialty, and came home with an embroidered director’s chair for me! (Something I have always wanted!) He was BOS smooth, and also won 2nd in the Stud Dog class.
